Airport Vienna

Take the Vienna AirportBus (direcction to Schwedenplatz/Morzinplatz), the leaves every 30 minutes and takes 20 minutes without stops. The bus stop is approximately 150 m (yards) from our house. www.viennaairportlines.at

Taxi would be another option.

West – Highway A1 / Interstate E60

A1 until the end (Auhof) keep straight and follow the signs  Zentrum until you reach the Ringstrasse next to the State Opera building, turn left onto the Ringstrasse and keep going until Gonzagagasse (last crossing before you reach the Franz Josefs-Kai),turn right until Rudolfsplatz, turn right-left-left (you circle arround that park) and straight until you reach the Franz Josefs-Kai, there turn left (there is no other way) and watch for the third house on your left – number 43 – pull into the drive way and you are there.

South – Highway A2 / Interstate E59

A2 and switch to A23 (City bypass), take exit Prater/Zentrum , follow the Little Danube on your left (Schüttelstraße - Untere Donaustraße - Obere Donaustraße) until Salztorbrücke, turn left, cross the bridge, keep straight on the Salztorgasse until the first crossing, turn left into the Gonzagagasse until the  Rudolfsplatz and turn right, go until you reach the Franz Josefs-Kai, there turn left (there is no other way) and watch for the third house on your left – number 43 – pull into the drive way and you are there.

West – Train Station

At the Westbahnhof take the subway line U3 (direction to Simmering), three stops until Volkstheater, switch to the subway line U2 and go for the final station Schottenring, take exit Salztorbrücke you are right at the Franz Josefs-Kai, watch out for the blue house to your left and you are there.

Central – Train Station

At the Hauptbahnhof take the subway line U1 (direction to Leopoldau), four stops until Schwedenplatz, switch to the subway line U4 (direction to Heiligenstadt) and go for the next stop Schottenring, take exit Salztorbrücke you are right at the Franz Josefs-Kai, watch out for the blue house to your left and you are there.

Terms & Conditions

General

Vienna City Apartments are fully-furnished and equipped rental apartments that we led to accommodate guests.
The rent for the apartments includes all running costs such as electricity, water and heating and the VAT. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Articles of consumption such as toilet paper or detergents are provided.
In cases of doubt, the person booking the apartment shall be considered the guest even if he or she has booked it for other persons including or excluding himself or herself.
Smoking is prohibited in the apartments. Pets are only allowed on request in our apartments, refundable deposit required.
The apartment must not be rented or sublet to third parties. We do not assume any liability for theft, loss, damage to property or for injuries or sickness of the guests.
All complaints and defects shall be reported without delay so that we can arrange for a solution of the problem as fast as possible.
Lost property (property left behind) will be sent on upon request at the guest's expense. Articles will be kept for a period of two weeks.

Booking and Cancellation

We require a down payment of 20 % at your reservation. The rest is due at your arrival. We accept payments in cash or transfer to our bank account.
In case of cancellation of your reservation 21 days before your intended arrival we convert your down payment into a voucher. This voucher is valid for a year and can be used for another booking of our City Apartment.
Is your cancellation within the last three weeks before your arrival or the time frame of one year has passed there will be no refund of the down payment.

Payment options

We accept payments via bank transfer, PayPal or cash.

Check in and check out

On arrival day your apartment is ready for check in the latest by 5.pm. On departure day you are asked to leave the rooms before 10 am. We can store your luggage during the day.
We do not have a permanently manned front desk, therefore we ask you to let us know about your expected arrival time to be able to welcome you and check you in.

Obligation to Register

The Austrian Registration Act stipulates that every person taking accommodation in Austria shall be registered with the police.
For this purpose, before using an apartment, every guest shall complete truthfully and sign a guest registration form.
The data of the spouse and children are entered into this form as well so that they do not have to complete a separate registration form.
The guest registration forms are retained by us and are not passed on to third parties with the exception of the inspection officers of the tourist police.
Every guest shall guarantee that exclusively persons who have completed a guest registration form stay overnight in the apartment.

Other obligations

The guests shall, at any time, grant access to us as landlord of other persons commissioned by us for the purposes of inspecting, cleaning or repairing. Of course, we shall see to it that the guests’ privacy is protected to the extent possible and, if possible, inform the guest of such visits in advance.
The guests are obligated to treat the apartment and its furniture and inventory with care as if it was their own property. The guests shall bear the full costs for repairing any damage caused by them either intentionally or by improper handling (e.g., burn holes, damaged or extremely dirty furniture/textiles, glass breakage, etc.).
In case of loss of a key, the guests shall bear the costs for the installation of a new lock and for six set of keys.
It is within the guests’ responsibility to empty the waste bins into the containers located in the garbage deposal (Müllraum) in the hall way on 1st floor (ground floor) of the building.

Liability

We do take care on proper reservation and preparation of the apartment. In case of an act of god, or adverse circumstances we have the right to offer another comparable accommodation. If there is no equivalent object, or the guest does not agree, both sides can cancel the arrangement. Our liability is limited to the refund of prepaid amounts
Guests and their accompanies declare explicitly to use the apartment, equipment and all other things in the rented object at their own risk and avoid the landlord of all deduced claims of compensation.
There is no liability for all valuables brought by guests and their companies.

Additional arrangements

Should be, or become one of the regulations above partly or fully not legally valid this will not touch the continuing existence of all other regulations. Such regulations will be replaced by our house rules or retrospective of other legally valid regulations which fulfil the economic interest of all parties.

Court of jurisdiction

Court of jurisdiction for all apartments is Vienna.
